Don't ask how we came up with the name "The Gravely Building", we honestly don't know. We just figured with apartments & an office on the upper floors and retailers on ground level it would make sense. The pre-printed windows, colroful awnings, and unusual 2nd floor porch help to define this structure. Equally at home in the Northeast or someplace on the west coast it can be used on just about any HO scale layout.
This model is available in HO, S & O scales. Whenever we build multiple protoypes we try different color schems, it seems that a lot of modelers insist on painting their models the way we paint ours !... and it's simply not the way to approach creative modeling.
The thumbnail above is the "S" scale version of the kit... same attitude and general idea, but a different color scheme and a somewhat different look.

The Gravely Building” was something we came up with based on a free-lanced model we had done. We’d like to tell you that there was a “grand plan” behind the thing... but it’s not the case. We came up with what we thought was a pretty “cool” structure.
