It's not often that we do a kit just in O-scale... and this kit is no exception.   This structure can have any one of a number of uses.. we were just looking for an excuse to include a wagon... and this type of business gave us one.  Line-side or street-side this one goes either way.  the original was actually built in S-scale for our "Wharf Street" railroad here at our shop...
it's pictured below.

If you're gonna build a model with open doors you'd better be prepared to do something with it's interior.  Youo gotta admit it looks pretty "cool"... to tell you the truth it didn't take long to do.

Clyde Queen built this O-Scale model of the kit for his narrow gauge layout.  Clyde's a prolific builder and his models can be found in any number of places on the website.

This simple little shop is modeled after one we built for ourselves on the Bar Mills Sn2 layout.  Although far from complex the multiple rooflines and interesting facade help make this building unique.  We’ve done something a little different with this one... we’ve included a horse drawn wagon with each kit as an extra modeling detail.  We placed both lighting and a full interior on our own version of the model, if you build the kit with the front door open the interior detailing can tell a story all by itself... definitely a foreground model !  Windows are positionable, extra details are included in the kit that are not shown in the photo.
